Dr. Lise' R. Smith is an energetic leader with a servant's heart. With over 25 years of leadership work experience in Fortune 500 companies and state government, most recently the Douglas County School District as an English and Language Arts educator, she prioritizes educating and ensuring equality among the masses.
Dr. Smith earned a doctorate, a Master of Organizational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Art in Management and Human Relations, all from Trevecca Nazarene University [TNU] (Nashville, Tennessee); she proudly attended HBCU Shaw University (Raleigh, North Carolina).
Dr. Smith is a native of Detroit, Michigan, who has made West Georgia home with her husband and three children. While establishing lasting relationships within the community, she teaches students academic and life skills that build a holistic approach to community stewardship. Dr. Smith promotes inclusiveness and diversity in and out of the classroom by facilitating workshops and advocating for the disenfranchised. She humbly serves as the Education Chairperson for NAACP Carroll County—chapter #5179.
